Wapta Falls are the largest falls on Kicking Horse River. They fall 100ft and are about 500ft wide. We walked the short trail starting at the trail parking lot through green forests to reach the bottom of the Falls and the green pools around it. It’s an easy fairly level trail, it drops about 180ft to the bottom of the falls at the end. We enjoyed watching a beautiful rainbow form over the Falls. Visited on 9/18/2022.
