We hiked Parker Ridge Trail on 9/21/2022. The trail is 4 miles with an elevation of 1,108ft. I was slow hiking up the mountain through the switchbacks stopping often to admire the splendor around me and trying hard to give it justice through my lens.
The trail was muddy and a bit slippery in a few sections with melting snow in the shadows. The first mile is pretty much uphill. The lookout on the top offers spectacular views of Saskatchewan glacier that makes the hike worthwhile. It is a popular trail; we ran into quite a few groups of hikers. It is easy to follow with a number of areas blocked off for restoration. The sun was facing us which made photography challenging. I highly recommend this picturesque hike.
