We stopped at Pisgah Forest visitor center on 11/15/2021 and hiked the Andy Cove Trail that starts in their parking lot. It’s a short easy loop under one mile with beautiful bridges and one swinging bridge. The elevation gain is negligible, just be aware of tree roots along the way. Fall colors were still bright which made the scenery even prettier. I highly recommend this short trail when in the area especially if you have children, they will very much enjoy the suspension bridge.
The trail connects with an exercise trail that goes by the English Chapel along the Davidson River.
