Headed to Fort Mill, SC on 1/2/2021 to hike this trail that meanders 2.3 miles along the Catawba river. It was a humid day following three days of rain. The trail was muddy but pretty. We saw a few Cormorants sunning on a rock, few squirrels and birds. The trailhead parking is in a large neighborhood. The hike takes you behind some of the homes. You will see a few trails marked private belonging to the same neighborhood but the public trail runs by the Catawba river parallel to the private one. At the end of the easy 2.3 miles, you will see a cascade of rocks, a nice spot to break or picnic.
