Today we hiked the last part of the Palmetto Trail’s Peak To Prosperity passage, starting at the Pomaria trail head. We hiked 4 miles then turned around. Glad we hiked in the spring as we saw an abundance of flowers. There was a beautiful staircase with a landing recently built by boy scouts. We didn’t realize it until we looked up from the landing and saw the scout law beautifully inscribed on each step. My friend Terri and I each sat over the step with the adjective we felt describes us best and took a photo. We were not sure where exactly the trail ended, we might have gone a bit beyond but we ended up at the most glorious meadow filled with beautiful flowers.
