In November 2019, when we could still carpool, I hiked a portion of this beautiful passage with the ladies of the Palmetto Trail. The Blue Wall passage is 14 miles located in Landrum , SC. The portion we hiked was relatively easy. We parked off Dug Hill Road and headed into the Nature Conservancy’s Blue Wall Preserve. Once finished we stopped for coffee in the quaint town of Tryon,NC so you’ll see a few photos from Tryon at the end. It is a lovely hike especially in the fall. There is a waterfall off trail but it was not as impressive on this trip as the gorgeous fall colors. You would definitely feel as if you stepped into a painting. The photos really don’t do it justice.
