A Quarantine Birthday

Isn’t our world simply amazing? Yesterday, April 23rd was my birthday. My niece drove over to my house with a mask on to deliver the gorgeous bouquet featured in this post and despite the scary circumstances we are facing, in this one single day I was contacted by over a hundred and fifty sweet people!

My friends and family called, sent emails, texts, instant messages, voice messages, they posted on Facebook or even sent actual paper cards -not to forget virtual hugs. What could possibly be a better birthday gift? Thank you!

I am certainly humbled. You all sure know how to make an old lady feel loved.
