If you have not been to South Carolina’s Landsford Canal State Park, go now 🙂
We visited this week the state park on this second week of May. Gorgeous rocky shoals spider lilies are in full bloom likely for the next two weeks. There are thousands ! I try to go every year in May – June. One spring I hope to go paddling between them. Wouldn’t that be just grand! We did see the eagle’s nest, sadly no eagles around. Check the park’s web site if you want to visit. There is a small fee $6/adult and $3.50/ child if you don’t have the park pass.
AllTrails states that the trail to see the Lilies is about three easy miles, I clocked about 2 out and back. It is a popular trail especially at this time of year.
