Dry Falls is a popular Fall outside of Highfalls, NC off US Highway 64. It’s a 75 ft. fall with a lookout and a trail that allows visitors to walk behind the waterfall. It is located in the Nantahala National Forest. The highway leading to it is called Mountain Waters Scenic Byway, it is narrow and curvy but oh so fun to drive. We visited on October 20th, 2020.
