On our way back from Twin Creeks Lavender farm we made a quick stop at this lovely park in Fountain Inn, SC. The area was Cherokee land prior to 1776, one of the largest Native American Nations.
You can see the remnants of an old dam that was used to generate electricity before it was replaced.
The park offers a short 2 mile hike through the woods and beautiful waterfalls. It was crowded with children and adults enjoying a sunny Saturday out in nature. I was surprised that the bathrooms were open as that has not been the case in any park during this social distancing Covid-19 time.
Definitely taking a tripod and a filter on my next trip. Until then, here are a few shots.
