Cascade of Time Gardens is an immaculate garden located behind the first National Park building in Banff, Canada. Built in 1935, the 4-acre park is multi-terraced with benches, ponds, fountains, a gazebo, and over 50,000 flowers. We stopped at the Banff sign on our way into town. The park faces Banff village, the Bow River and an imposing mountain. After walking along the beautiful pathways admiring the stunning scenery, we crossed the bridge across the street to look at the beautiful Bow River and the reflection of the mountains and wooden bridge onto the water.
I took several photos, not sure they would do it justice. It is free to visit, very well maintained with clean public bathrooms and plenty of parking spaces. Flowers are in bloom May through September. It is a must stop to unwind after a day of exploring Banff National Park. I highly recommend it.
