They offer 4 hiking trails with some limited views of the river. There is a lookout that we drove to on Cooks mountain Rd. We walked through swampy areas and saw quite a few downed trees but were able to get around them. We hiked the green trail. We saw what we think were eagles, a snake, a frog, butterflies, heard many birds singing in harmony. It was a beautiful day of complete immersion in nature.
