Toastmasters Presentation was a true honor. On Sunday, July 12, 2020, I had the privilege of presenting my book A Glimpse into My Life: A Collection of Micro‑Memoirs from South Carolina via Zoom to a dynamic group of Toastmasters in Zouk Mikael, Lebanon. The meeting was both fun and intellectually stimulating, filled with thoughtful questions and genuine curiosity.
I was deeply impressed by these young leaders and their commitment to self‑improvement through Toastmasters International. Kudos to the Loudspeakers Toastmasters Club—coming from a fellow Advanced Communicator Bronze Toastmaster, it was a pleasure meeting each of you. If you are in Lebanon, you might consider joining them; their energy and dedication are inspiring.
During the session, I shared how the book was conceived, introduced each chapter, and then read The Road Least Traveled. That reading sparked a lively and meaningful discussion on ADHD, the central theme of the chapter. It was a memorable exchange that reminded me how powerful storytelling can be when it connects people across continents.
