To find attractions close to your current location, click the location icon (red) .

You then might need to click the “+” or “-” sign (blue) repeatedly until you see the area of interest. Markers will show up, they are clustered, keep clicking until you see single attraction icon. Clicking on the attraction opens its related blog post.

You can also find markers in the Search Markers box by entering part of their name or by entering a city, state in the Find a Location box and set the search diameter in the dopdown next to it. Markers display below the map. The map can also give you direction by clicking on the direction icon to the right of the marker name.

Type the location in the Find a Location box (brown) for example “Columbia, SC”, select the location from the dropdown, then set the mileage for the search diameter (how far from the location to show).

All attractions/hikes within the selected location will be listed below the map. along with their addresses. If you select your current location, the list would show how far each attraction is from your current location.

Clicking on the direction icon (pink) , would open directions to the attraction.

To find attractions by state or country, click none in the purple box, then select the country or state of interest.

Type the attraction or hike name (or a portion of the name) in the Search Markers box (Blue) for example “Farm”.

All attractions/hikes containing the name will be listed below the map. along with their addresses. If you select your current location, the list will show how far each attraction is from your current location.

You change the sort by clicking on the dropdown (green)
