Backyard Birds, 2023, South Carolina

I went outside to my backyard this morning to capture a couple of photos of birds I saw through the window while I drank my coffee. Two hours later I went back inside with hundreds of photos including some of my neighbors’ yards and likely a few mosquito bites. I saw a variety of birds and a few squirrels. The species identified today are: Northern cardinal, Sparrow, Yellow-rumped warbler, Eastern bluebird, American robin, BlueJay, Yellow warbler, American mockingbird, Mourning dove, Red-bellied woodpecker, Downy woodpecker, House Finch.

It was a beautiful morning. I love Spring. I love flowers. I love bird songs . Such a beautiful, colorful world we live in. I encourage you to go outside and explore. Happy spring!
