I hiked the table Rock trail in Table Rock State park with the Girls Who Hike, SC chapter on a cold day in 2019. It was my first difficult hike. I took some photos but not a lot as I was busy trying to breathe… The trail is only 3.6 miles but it ascends to an elevation of over 2,000 ft. I am so glad I took my hiking sticks with me. My poor knees really needed them especially on the way down. When I reached the top, I was rewarded with the most beautiful view. We hung out on the rocks and had a snack before heading down. Honestly the way down was a lot more difficult on my knees than going up. I highly recommend this hike.
